The Queens Kickshaw serves specialty coffee, fancy grilled cheese sandwiches, scratch cooking, craft ales, and cider.
TQK is a labor of love for husband and wife team Ben Sandler and Jennifer Lim. They have been living in Astoria for over 6 years, and wanted to create a place and community that reflected their love for the neighborhood, and their passions for good food and drink.
Chef Kenji Hurlburt hails from notable NYC eateries as The National (Geoffrey Zakarian), Michelin-starred Rouge Tomate, and Gotham Bar & Grill. His cooking style can be described as practical, with the belief that great dishes start with great ingredients.

In 2013, The Queens Kickshaw was inducted into the Good Beer Seal, a group of 50+ bars that serve quality craft beer and demonstrate a commitment to the community in which they do business.
In 2012, The Queens Kickshaw was honored by the Transportation Alternatives Queens Volunteer Committee as its first Bike-Friendly partner, and all-around good business.
